SLOOTWEGPre-screening unit
Available in
Africa, Canada & USA, Europe, Latin America and OceaniaThe pre-screening unit is designed to perform an initial screening of materials, removing larger pieces before they are processed further on a screening or mixing line. This unit is specifically designed to process difficult-to-handle materials, including peat moss, compost, mulch, and mixed products such as reed sedge, topsoil, sand, bark, manure, and wood shavings.
The unit comprises a hopper section with a conveyor, a vibrating screen box equipped with self-cleaning Grizzly™ fingers, and a collection conveyor.
The material is fed into the hopper and transported to the screener. Larger pieces of material will remain on top of the fingers and be directed to a reject stockpile. Smaller pieces will pass through the screen and be collected by a conveyor for further processing.
