These machines are designed to provide high-speed and repeatable accuracy during bag filling, with options for hang weighing or net weighing.
The BBF 2 Series is engineered to allow a single operator to complete the entire filling process from a single location. The bag loop supports and filling head are mounted in a sliding carriage, making loading fast and easy and avoiding unnecessary stretching. Once the bag is secured, it is returned to the filling position, and filling can commence. Material from the upstream process is delivered in a fast and dribble feed mode until the target weight is reached.
The filling cycle starts with the neck clamp being inflated, creating a sealed connection to prevent dust escape. If bags are fitted with internal liners, the optional bag inflation system is recommended to inflate the liner before filling, minimizing the risk of restriction. The bag is then ready to receive material from the upstream process.
Bag forming and densification can be achieved through a pre-programmed recipe system that operates during filling. This results in a flat base for the bag, ensuring it is completely filled, eliminating trapped air, and providing a stable, compact final package.
The displaced air inside the bag is managed using a twin-tube filling spout that directs it to a controlled vent point, a simple sock, or a complete dust extraction system. Finally, the bag is removed by a forklift truck directly from the machine.
